I volunteered as a Digital Content Coordinator to help the MQFF 2016 team deliver their social media strategy and reach new audience members in their 26th year of running.

This included writing copy and developing social media posts for their Festival Sponsors: ACMI, Schwartz Media, Cinema Nova and Midsumma.

As well as social media, I researched, wrote and scheduled weekly, monthly, and daily eDMs during pre-festival and post-festival periods.

I also devised and delivered a Facebook-centred video marketing strategy (view all individual posts here) that raised their online engagement significantly from previous years.

Social media and eDM content contributed to an 11% increase in single ticket sales, and as a team we achieved the best box office figures the festival has seen in over 5 years.
